My creature! It lives!
Sunday, March 2, 2008
Well, it's been several years, lets start jump back into the swing of things.
Oh yes, I have other blogs/journals, every social network comes with it's own inbuilt blog these days, but they dont feel like real blogs. And I've never really felt at home at livejournal. I still have massive affection for this old thing and even though my circumstances in life may have changed (if not progressed) I'm still an irrepressible gobshite.
I had no idea I was still hosting these layout images, to be honest. Presumably there's a stylesheet somewhere, too. Obviously I'm as organised as a webmistress as I am in the rest of my life - i.e. not at all.
Anyway. Hello. I'm KP Saunt. My domain is nijikon.net and you've probably never heared of me.
Let's do something about that.

Went to a party last night & took some photos, I'm looking forward to getting them developed.
I've also uploaded a fuckload of new avatars to DNS.
Working on some great stuff in photoshop, too.

Nijikon.net is back with a sexyful new layout. I think we can all breathe a big sigh of relief. Well, I certainly can. Phew. Here it is.

New layout, new name. Consider this a sneak preview of how the new nijikon.net will look. (To those gorgeous folk who still visit here, I hope the links are dark enough to read. I'm looking at a nasty library flat screen and its hard to tell).
Meanwhile, here's a littlep i c t u r e , it's not quite finished.

Work on the planned overhaul of NKon.net is progressing slower than I'd like. But it's certainly well on it's way. Meanwhile, I can at least unveil my re-worked p o r t f o l i o. Some old stuff is still there, but there's new stuff, too. Check out the photos!

Just s o m e t h i n g I've been messing around with lately, for my own entertainment. Basically, a bad photo of a bad painting. Oil on primed carboard.

Got a selection of holiday snaps from Berlin here. As usual a lot of them looked great on the screen on the back of the camera, but I was, like, "why did I take a picture of that?" once I saw it at home. Anyway, I've 'shopped these ones to try to spook them up. As you do.
The trip was great, btw. I felt like I was in The Third Man, or something. Even though I went to macdonalds and dunkin donuts every day, and stayed in a youth hostel. Gotta love my over-active imagination.

"TAKE IT TO THE BRIDGE: Some photos taken on Sunday the 17th October, 2004. I went out in my city, Newcastle upon Tyne, the plan was to head to the river. I got there about the same time as my supply of film ran out. I wanted to take pictures of the town for a personal record and I was worried that I might not get any decent weather for the rest of the year. Thankfully, It was just damp enough to keep other people away, and there was a very nice sunset, although it doesn’t show up much on the photos".
For some reason, these didnt all upload right, so here's what I've got online right now: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.

Hello and welcome back to Kaidan - ressurrected as a workblog. Although, I feel I ought to rename it, too. Suggestions, anyone?
I'd like to be posting a lot more here but until the goddamn network recognises my usb drive here's a daft little CG I did last week. Crowd-pleasing fluff, because I'm a sellout XD. P'shop v.6, as usual.
